Troubleshooting

When something looks wrong — symptoms, likely causes, and how to fix them.

• Can't log inWrong-password errors, missing confirmation emails, and reset links that won't arrive.
• Upload failedThe photo won't upload, the file is rejected, or compression fails.
• Handwriting wasn't recognizedThe transcription came out wrong, garbled, or the scan found nothing to read at all.
• No Live Highlights on a noteThe scan-lines button is missing from the viewer toolbar, or highlight mode isn't offered for a note.
• Search can't find a noteYou know the page exists, but searching for it comes up empty.
• Ask gave a wrong or unhelpful answerThe answer missed the point, cited the wrong pages, or claimed your notes don't mention something they do.
• A Timeline node repeats the previous oneYou added a new node and it says nearly the same thing as the last one.
• Can't share this month's artifactThe calendar's share button says the artifact isn't available, or a month is missing from the gallery.
• Payment issuesPending payments, failed charges, plans that didn't activate, and unexpected amounts.
